My name is Alicia, I am 27 and working as a full time nanny. I am single with no kids of my own.

Cradle Catholic.

What’s been the biggest game changer in your Catholic faith?

Realizing that going to a Catholic, all female undergrad where opportunities for growing my faith were around every corner, that I was responsible for seeking out these opportunities when in different environments.

Name a saint you identify with and share why.

Francis of Assisi, as a steward of the earth I love having him as a role model. Also, his prayer for peace is one of my most favorites.

When have you felt most valued as a woman in the Church?

This was a tough question for me- after pondering, I realize that I feel valued as a woman in the Church through my caregiving roles. I am a Catechist and nurturing the vulnerabilities, innocence and belief of children matter to me.

What’s your favorite way to pray?

With a group of people who love me (re: Mth 18:20).

Favorite liturgical holiday?

Immaculate Conception.

What do you do for fun?

Read, talk to friends, enjoy a good meal.
